TUESDAYS, July 7, 14, 21, 28: The Special Interest Groups meet 6 p.m. at The MacMechanic, 216 E. Gutierrez St., Santa Barbara. See the Special Interest Groups page for more information.

THURSDAY, July 23, 6 p.m., at Fleischmann Auditorium, Museum of Natural History: Macworld Senior Editor Christopher Breen returns to SBMUG! His appearance at our meeting last July was a big hit. Directions:

We meet at the Santa Barbara Museum of Natural History, 2559 Puesta del Sol, Santa Barbara. Go up Los Olivos Street just past the Mission and take the second left onto Las Encinas Rd. Turn left at the end of the block, then into the Museum’s parking lot on the right. From the parking lot entrance, walk through the iron gate. This month’s meeting will be in Fleischmann Auditorium, just inside the gate.

General info for main meetings:

The public is welcome (bring your PC and Linux friends, too!), but only members may enter the drawing for prizes! Refreshments will be served.
    For more information about SBMUG programs, or to make suggestions for future programs, write to us!

Time: 6 to 8 p.m. The meeting begins with a general question and answer session. Bring your big questions, your little questions, your tricky questions, your "stupid" questions, your technical questions, your newbie questions, your part one and part two questions, the question you were always afraid to ask, the question that may beg the question … Refreshments will be served, and the presentation will begin shortly after.
