TUESDAYS, July 6, 13, 20, 27: The Special Interest Groups meet 6 p.m. at The MacMechanic, 216 E. Gutierrez St., Santa Barbara. See the Special Interest Groups page for more information.

SBMUG’s annual beach picnic is July 15!

THURSDAY, July 15: SBMUG’s 4th annual pot-luck picnic, 5–8 p.m. at Goleta Beach! Bring a salad or dessert to serve at least 6. Or, bring a main course item (meat, fish, or casserole) and receive a free raffle ticket!

Please bring your own plates, bowls, cups, silverware etc.

Directions:

    Take Ward Memorial Blvd. (Hwy. 217) toward the beach, exit at Sandspit Rd. Turn left at the intersection, continue to the beach entrance. Enter the beach area, turn right. SBMUG will be in area C not far from the park entrance. Click for a map to Goleta Beach.

General info for main meetings:

The public is welcome (bring your PC and Linux friends, too!), but only members may enter the drawing for prizes! Refreshments will be served.
    For more information about SBMUG programs, or to make suggestions for future programs, write to us!

Time: 6 to 8 p.m. The meeting begins with a general question and answer session. Bring your big questions, your little questions, your tricky questions, your "stupid" questions, your technical questions, your newbie questions, your part one and part two questions, the question you were always afraid to ask, the question that may beg the question … Refreshments will be served, and the presentation will begin shortly after.
